Summary of Job Description:The Accountant (Family Service) is responsible for updating the fixed assets worksheet and verifying assets detail in the accounting system. This position reconciles and updates all Joint Venture/Investment capital accounts and issues checks for the capital contribution to all investment payments. The Accountant assists with the monthly close, including preparation of lead schedules, preparing and posting of journal entries, and maintenance of the general ledger.
You’ll get a chance to:
- Responsible for accounts payable for Family Service, Charitable Foundation, Trusts, and Investment Entities.
- Manage and record daily on-line activities.
- Responsible for quarterly payroll tax filing and year end W-2/W-3 preparation.
- Assist with the monthly close, including preparation of lead schedules, preparing, and posting of journal entries, and maintenance of the general ledger.
- Assist the Manager in preparation of foreign tax reporting for foreign investments.
- Assist the manager with various schedules for preparation of tax returns, extensions and tax planning calculations and related documentation.
- Ensures accuracy and consistency of data.
- Participate in the preparation of accurate and timely quarterly personal financial statements.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.

Your background & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Minimum three years of relevant experience
- If hired, successful completion of annual store training
- If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means two weeks or more have passed after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series, or more than two weeks after receiving a single-dose vaccine. Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digital completed vaccination card that includes name, type of vaccine provided, and date of last dose administered.

Pay Range P2s: $64,500 - $90,500 / Annual
