- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing websites and digital communications with a minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, typography and layout with exceptional skills in industry-standard design programs as needed or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with website design using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other code languages essential for website development and digital communications.
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System. Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload. Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
- Thorough technical skills in computer applications for web production, image handling, publishing and design, illustration, presentation preparation, animation, web interaction, and / or other state-of-the-art web communication capabilities.
- Thorough understanding of the organization’s processes, procedures and applicable rules and regulations for web communications. Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of design and user experience, including skills to design in an appealing, lively and relevant way.
- Thorough knowledge of content management systems and / or relevant web applications used for web production and organization-specific computer application programs.
- Knowledge of web standards for ADA compliance and cross-browser compatibility, and responsive frameworks. Thorough skills to create clear, easy-to-navigate, informative, accurate, well-designed, and functional web sites that provide web content consistent with the organization's message and in keeping with management directives and client objectives. Thorough technical skills in computer applications for web production, image handling, publishing and design, illustration, presentation preparation, animation, web interaction, and / or other state-of-the-art web communication capabilities.
- Ability to oversee the development of film, including editing and producing high-quality video content for the web. Ability to create compelling headlines, copy and taglines for SEO and demonstrated understanding of best practices for web content development.
- Ability to read, write and maintain HTML and other code languages essential for website development and digital communications.
- Thorough skills to develop and implement original ideas and correctly identify and effectively solve problems.
- Demonstrated skill in managing collaborative projects and developing support among diverse constituencies. Thorough interpersonal skills and ability to work with and provide service to all levels of constituents including alumni and donors.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks on time.
