Tasks:
- Handles inbound calls that are basic and routine, escalating calls
- Answer inquiries, resolves problems, and promote products/services.
- May respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published
- Navigates a computerized data entry system or other relevant

Responsible for handling inbound calls from delinquent customers or outbound collection calls. Uses computerized system to gather information regarding the customer's delinquent account in order to secure payment on past due monies. Handles customer accounts in a past due collections status, using negotiation skills to bring the account current. May include sells responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities:
Multi tasked agent will handle inbound and outbound collections calls with excellent customer care
Under direct supervision, handles inbound and outbound collections calls that are basic and routine, escalating calls beyond scope of responsibility.
Transfers calls to appropriate person as necessary.
Maintain a customer focused approach in dealing with a customer's present financial situation.
Verify/gather customer contact information.
Sell the value of Direct Pay and EcoBill.
Answer inquiries, resolves problems, and promote products/services. Requires limited knowledge of the organization, products, and/or services.
Routinely handles a high volume of calls in a fast paced environment.
Navigates a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications.
Maximize opportunities to promote Comcast products and preferred payment plans.
Work with customers to negotiate payment and capitalize on retention efforts.
Listens to the customer, assess their needs, and supply appropriate payment resolution.
Asks appropriate questions and negotiate payment options.
Ability to handle high phone volumes, adverse situations, and difficult customers.
Works cross functionally with team to obtain solutions to customer's issues or concerns.
Exceed debt collection targets, sales expectations, and equipment retrieval targets.
Provide excellent customer service with each call.
Take ownership of the customer's issue and offers resolution.
Accountable for results and is able to meet or exceed call metrics such as calls per productive hour, wrap time, first call resolution, dollars per contact, contacts per hour etc.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Previous collections and/or billing skills preferred.
Strong verbal, written, and negotiation skills to retain existing customer base.
