CU Members Mortgage is currently seeking Loan Officers to service Credit Unions in the Utah Area!
The Off-Site Loan Officer will function in the following capacity:
Perform! sales and interact with credit union members from their initial inquiry through their loan closing Professionally interact with credit union members face-to-face, via telephone, and via electronic methods. Professionally interact and build relationships with credit union staff from front line personnel to upper management. Seek out and build relationships with third party business partners in the immediate community such as real estate agents, title companies, home builders, financial planners, etc. Originate loans Initiate processing Accurately Price and lock loans Obtain all documentation and support information as required by the products and loan programs Communicate with applicants and all file related vendors Clear underwriting contingencies along with loan processors Coordinate loan closings with the closing department Must be available to work OT as needed and be available to work on weekends as caseload requires.
Job Requirements
Loan Officer
This position requires:
Minimum of 3 years ve! rifiable successful residential loan origination experience Must have FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA and Private Institutional Investor product experience Experience with automated underwriting systems (DU and LP) Current knowledge of all compliance regulations (RESPA, MDIA, TIL, REG Z, ECOA etc.) Ability to demonstrate knowledge of all secondary market products Excellent interpersonal telecommunication skills, sales ability, and time management skills are mandatory for success Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills, including handling high call volume, face to face sales opportunities, and/or converting telephone and on-line leads into loan applications and closings Team player Demonstrate significant time management skills Meet established production and timeframe goals All candidates must be prepared to demonstrate skills as required above.
