SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-ValleyPosition Overview:
Designs, develops, validates, modifies and maintains training content, lesson plans and activities, manuals, self-study modules and supportive learning tools utilized in training classes by partnering with subject matter experts and identifying target audience training needs. Prepares and delivers online or classroom presentations, demonstrations, train-the-trainer and end-user classes on a variety of topics and technical application systems, and provides special training courses as needed. Designs and maintains the master patient build within the training environment in order to properly support training. Troubleshoots all training environment issues across Sutter Health and its regional affiliates.$ads={1}

This is a work from home role within California.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's: Computer Science, Learning Design, Education, Healthcare Management or other related field or equivalent education/experience
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Expert application of adult learning concepts and interpersonal skills while presenting to effectively manage class and guide end users to understanding.
Knowledge of healthcare workflows and healthcare application systems.
Effective and polished presentation skills, and training delivery skills; ability to prioritize focus on topics based on audience level and time allotted.
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
Use basic English words and phrases to effectively and clearly organize and communicate thoughts, ideas and technical details in a concise manner easily understood by all audiences.
Make presentations to persuade others to accept a specific opinion or action, or to provide information and instruction.
Encourage individuals either in a one-to-one or small group situation in order to establish rapport and gain the trust of others or to listen perceptively and convey awareness.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.
Foster a stimulating and accepting learning environment resulting in leading others to solve complex problems.
Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.

Pay Range is $41.64 to $62.46 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
