Location: Salt Lake City Utah

The EAP Coordinator is responsible for providing a full continuum of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to employees, family members, managers,! and teams. In addition to providing valuable internal EAP services to Intermountain Healthcare, the EAP offers services to external companies in the community. The EAP Coordinator I position provides assessment and counseling to individuals, couples and families. This position also provides crisis services and some WorkLife trainings. The EAP coordinator must have the ability and flexibility to manage their time to accommodate numerous requests for all of these services. The EAP provides a critical role and is highly respected for supporting the well being of employees, family members, managers and teams.

Job Essentials

Provides brief, solution-focused counseling for individuals, couples and families including clinical assessment, case management, referral services (including insurance coordination), and follow up services. Balances time and schedule to ensure the minimum productive time expected is met. Balances caseload to ensure access for new patients! as well as timely follow up appointments for on-going patient! s.

Maintains client records according to EAP/HIPAA standards.

Reviews client and Fitness for Duty charts with peers yearly.

Under direct supervision, assists in coordinating Fitness For Duty (FFD) cases. This includes assisting in initial assessment, EAP interview, and coordinating the FFD policy and procedure with Human Resources, management and employee.

Closes case files after 30 days of no contact. Submits contact sheets weekly. Utilizes ORS/SRS for outcome measure on all clients.

Provides Work/Life Wellness training. Obtains participant feedback forms from 70% of the training provided.

Under supervision, provides consultations to managers on employee relation issues.

Provides timely crisis intervention services with appropriate follow up.

Requests feedback from clients via EAP customer survey and responds appropriately.

Shift Details: 40 hours a wee! k, Monday through Friday. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some scheduling flexibility.
Department: The EAP office is located at the Employee Services Center, 5245 S. College Dr., Murray, Utah 84123.

Minimum Requirements

Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work is required with a Utah State license or license eligibility. Intermountain verifies both degree attainment and educational institution accreditation following an offer of employment.

Three or more years of clinical experience is required.

The applicant must be able to function in an autonomous work environment while being a proficient counselor, being comfortable in training, coaching, and facilitating

Demonstrated working knowledge of Critical Incident Stress Management facilitation.

Organizational skills and effective communication

Demonstrated proficiency in responding to customer feedback from surveys an! d to client feedback.

Physical Requirements

Hearing/L! istening, Manual Dexterity, Speaking.

Preferred Qualifications

Five or more years of clinical experience with three or more of EAP and/or organizational development or consulting.

Experience and expertise in substance abuse treatment.

Clinical experience working with individuals, couples and children.
