Bring your strategic communication and public relations experience to our Utah/Idaho Markets!
Develops and manages the companyâs reputation and o! nline media strategy, including brand awareness and issues management.
Establish relationships with key print and electronic media sources, including local, regional and diversity media as appropriate.
Serves as media spokesperson specific to market and/or issue. Responsible for working with other media managers, providing strategic support and mentoring on media and public relations strategies as necessary
Key Qualifications and Experience :
Bachelorâs degree in public relations, communications, journalism or related field and a minimum of 6 years experience with extensive focus in media relations and on online media. in external communications or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience in effectively mentoring less experienced strategic communications staff members.
Solid knowledge of monitoring effective benchmarks for measuring the growth of the online community, and ability to ana! lyze, review, and report on effectiveness of new initiatives. !
Strategic yet creative thinker, self-starter, cool under pressure and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Experience in new and emerging communication technology, and able to identify new solutions to respond and move messages online.
In-depth knowledge, experience, understanding of online community platforms (Forums, Blogs, Photo Uploads, Twitter, Youtube etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability to maintain and increase professional knowledge of the latest trends, practices, programs, and applications evolving in communications/media/networking.
Proven ability to establish good working relationship with reporters and editors
Ability to develop and implement strategi! c media relations and public affairs campaign plans locally and regionally.
Previous experience in the health care industry is preferred
