The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to complete high level tasks and objectives and to provide guidance as we move towards a new electronic management system. You will directly support and accomplish these goals by leading projects, p roviding expertise, and implementing quality assurance within the Agency.

Job Description
As the Data Quality Analyst you will provide complex record analysis and management, and guides and will guide and ensure data quality across systems by:
- Examining systems and processes for accuracy to ensure compliance with procedures, regulations and standards.
- Identifying and correcting inaccurate processes, data and information.
- Developing policies and procedures to ensure future accuracy.
- Designing, coordinating, conducting and guiding transitions to electronic files and utilization of document management systems.
- Providing subject matter expertise in data management, system process, electronic records and other related areas.
- Assisting in the design, documentation, training, improvement, and quality assurance of business process, policies and systems.

- Experienced in designing, documenting and improving processes.
- Experienced working with document management systems.

Example of Duties:
- Complete high level analytical functions and determine accuracy of processes.
- Apply policy and regulations to analysis of complex information and data.
- Direct and lead subject matter experts in high level processes and projects.
- Provide expert guidance in the development of technical processes.
- Assist in the development of technical specifications for records management and information management systems.
- Coordinate, oversee, and train other staff members in best practices, policies and regulations.
- Performs reviews of information to identify problem areas and develop solutions to resolve issues.
- Coordinate in the design, documentation, improvement, and quality assurance of business pro cesses related to subject matter expertise.
- Identify and correct inaccurate information and data through complex analysis and determine means of ensuring future accuracy.
- Oversee, guide and manage the progress of complex projects.
- May supervise or assists with the supervision of subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.

- compile, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, correct, verify, or process information
- review and/or edit documents for accuracy and completeness
- use computer word processing software
- compose and produce reports, documents and related material
- communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing; read and understand information presented in writing
- work collaboratively and constructively with individuals, ag encies and/or organizational program(s)

- may supervise others by assigning/directing work; conducting employee evaluations, staff training and development, taking appropriate disciplinary/corrective actions, making hiring/termination recommendations, etc
Supplemental Information:
- Standard Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
