Security Analyst

A client of ours, a top-tier financial firm, is looking for an Information Security Engineer to be based in Taylorsville, UT.
The responsibilities of the IS Engineer include:
Developing and impl! ementing a plan for IS technologies and interfacing with various EML devices
Collaborating with various security teams and ensuring newly implemented technologies are integrated and fully utilized as intended in protection of company’s assets
Performing routine security monitoring tasks and handling issues uncovered by newly developed monitoring tools
Managing security alerts and incidents, and conducting targeted reviews of suspect areas
Recommending and implementing process and reporting improvements
Collaborating with Audit and Risk Management to provide evidence of security activities
Maintaining regional Information Security (IS) infrastructure solutions, and acting as IS Technology expert
Providing engineering services for IS projects and tasks, assisting IS manager in coordinating team project delivery and program management reporting
Evaluating and implementing new technologies, policies, and procedures for business network operatio! ns
Analyzing and preparing reports on IS monitoring, impro! vement, and regulatory compliance
Implementing firewall changes, establishing VPNs with partner companies, AAA administration, and administration of DNS records

Industry certifications a plus (CISP, CISA, CISSM)
Minimum 7 years hands-on Information Security experience, Information Security Tools deployment experience is a must
Knowledge of Infrastructure tools and systems architectures
Understanding of project delivery management, planning, providing status updates and metrics
Team leadership experience is a plus
Excellent technical, analytical, problem resolution, and communication skill! s
