EVault Professional Services provide implementation, Solution Design, Disaster Recovery and Systems Continuity consulting. The team covers all of the Professional Services for EVault in the Americas and is a leader in Data Protection consulting.
We are looking for a responsible, technology savvy and trustworthy individual to join EVault's Professional Services team as a Field Consultant. You will perform a variety of professional consulting duties, including Data Continuity consulting, Disaster Recovery testing, Operational Assessments, EVault implementations and migrations, project management, documentation, execution of EVault’s value-add consulting service offerings. You must be a self-starter with excellent written, verbal and organizational skills and the ability to work under deadlines. Additionally, you must be familiar with working in a technical sales and support team environment. Project management, technical analysis, customer support, troubleshooting skills, and previous work experience in a technology role is a must.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide Data Continuity consulting Install and implement EVault Data Protection solutions onsite or remotely Project Management Resolve technical and customer problems Supervise and provide guidance to partner installs Work with Sales and Support teams on customer and partner issues Become knowledgeable with EVault’s products and service offerings Provide technical solutions and/or deployment options quickly Compose SOW, project plans and customer product configurations
Requirements:
The position will require a customer focused, analytical minded person, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is an absolute must. This position is 20% Project Management, 55% Analysis, 35%Technical - drawing on technical and/or product knowledge in configuration of EVault Products Experience in business systems continuity or data continuity consulting. Must be able to "think on their feet" Must demonstrate a strong ability and initiative to learn...past track record important Excellent Troubleshooting and problem analysis skills â€" can find creative solutions and workarounds to meet customer expectations B.S. degree in a technical discipline or equivalent 4-7 Years professional experience The candidate must have previous experience supporting and/or implementing enterprise software solutions for large companies Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Data protection and disaster recovery experience â€" is a plus Basic network administration experience across all Microsoft Windows platforms Familiarity with MS Windows 2003/2008 Servers, MS Exchange, and MS SQL iSeries, Linux/UNIX, MS SharePoint, Novell Netware, Oracle and VMWare ESX a plus Ability to multi-task and work under dynamic conditions and constraints with minimal supervision i.e. strong analytical, prioritization, time management, and follow-up skills This position may require up to 20% travel
