Employment Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am to 5 pm, and extended hours as needed
Rate of pay: Negotiable based on experience

SUMMARY: The business development specialist's (BDS) main purpose is to create new account opportunities in target organizations and then close accounts. Duties involved in this position will include, placing outbound sales calls, answering inbound sales calls, responding to online quotes, writing proposals, proofreading proposals, meeting potential clients, orga! nizing events, attending networking events, developing potenti! al sales target groups, initial lead generation, and research of the right contacts (name, contact information, etc.) USTC will train the right sales professional to succeed in this role and promotes from within.

DUTIES

1.Place outbound calls to target companies and court decision makers.
2.Research and call to find the right contacts of potential clients.
3.Write proposals
4.Answer incoming calls on a multi-line phone system when required.
5.Respond immediately to incoming quotes with clarity, speed and accuracy including calls, negotiation, tracking of quotes, and follow-ups for conversion.
6.Work with appropriate staff to determine pricing and determine linguist availability
! 7.Smoothly transition sales to Project Coordinator
8.Data entry and management of sales prospects
9.Create sales and marketing presentations where needed
10.Must maintain client confidentiality. Many clients require absolute confidentiality of their work and the Company signs confidentiality agreements.
11.Must become familiar with other departments in the org. and offer support where possible.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Experience, and Knowledge

A college degree in sales, marketing, public relations, business, international business or other area closely related in skill to sales preferred. Excellent knowledge of computers and MS Office products. Two years minimum previous proactive sales and customer service experience a must.

Skills and Abilities

1.2+ years' experience in B2B sales.
2.Inside sales expertise.
3.Comfortable and experienced in making 50+ outbound calls a day.
4.Must be self-motivated, h! ave a can do attitude, and a strong attention to detail.
5.Proven t! rack record of closing accounts and reaching C-level decision makers.
6.Must have experience using computers and expert knowledge of MS Office products.
7.Experience using CRMs such as Salesforce.com
8.Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills
9.Must be capable of working under periodic stressful conditions.
10.Must have excellent writing skills for the creation of articles, presentations, reports, and email correspondence
11.Must be willing to train on-the-job where experience and knowledge falls short of job requirements. Needs to be capable of quickly learning various documentation procedures.
12.Excellent organizational skills required.
13.Must have the ability to work well with people and provide immediate and supportive attention to projects where needed

Physical

Physical requirements are limited but the person must be able to sit for long hours working at a computer screen, have good vision, and good eye-hand coordination. Must have full function of two hands, good hearing, and good speaking and writing and multitasking capabilities.
