The purpose of our student ambassador program is to promote AgCareers.com as an online Job Board fo! r Careers within the Agriculture, Food, Natural Resources, and Biotechnology industries on college campuses.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentify classes and organizations on campus whose students could utilize AgCareers.com as a career tool.Deliver presentations to appropriate classes and organizations, informing students and faculty/staff about AgCareers.com.Post flyers and send emails notifying student of updates and promotional offers.Participate and represent AgCareers.com in campus events.Prepare weekly activity journal reports of time and activities.Responds to emails or telephone calls as needed.QualificationsKnowledgeable of the InternetExcellent Public Speaking SkillsMicrosoft WordMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft PowerPointMust be currently enrolled in an agricultural, food, natural resources, or biotechnology program at Utah State University, with a GPA of 2.75 or higher.Time Commitment: As an ambassador students devote three hours per week towards the program. T! he position will start in August 2014 and will continue throug! h April 2015. Attendance at a web-based pre-training in August is mandatory.Compensation: Students selected, as campus ambassador will have excellent opportunities to further develop personal, social, and communication skills, and have direct contact with companies who use AgCareers.com.
Such development will have positive effects upon achieving intended professional career goals.
