We are looking for a self-starting, motivated technical analyst interested in working with business intelligence and big data technology to join our team.
Position Summary This is an entry level position ideal for a new grad looking to start a career in technical data analysis. The position reports to the Principal Engineer â€" Business Intelligence. As a member of the BI team, the analyst will extract, analyze and create reports from customer data universes. The position will be working on fast paced projects and be expected to keep up which will offer the ability to move up quickly into a level 3 position.
Responsibilities Initial training in Business Objects Tools, Crystal Reports and Universe Designer, Data base driven Solutions such as Oracle, Vertica, etc. Data source extraction using ETL tools an! d data management software Building data universes using Cryst! al Reports Universe Designer Creating reports from data pulled from systems Light statistical analysis Report to Principal Engineer, and work with BI Sr. Engineer Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Math or Computer Engineering 1-2 yrs. experience in report building using enterprise tools such as Crystal, Tableau, Microstrategy or MS Dev.
Tools or like products Must have data modeling skills Experience with SQL , Oracle or MS preferred Some experience with SPSS, SAS or similar programs a plus Data administration skills helpful (Building, tuning, indexing strategies) Benefits - Medical, Dental, Life, 401K, PTO US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
