This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated, energetic p! erson to fill our position as a Provider Data and Contract Sup! port Coordinator. We are looking for a well-organized, flexible, self-motivated individual who enjoys the challenges of working with and supporting a busy team. You must have the ability to manage data and documents, handle conflicting priorities appropriately, maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally at all times. Youâll be interacting with staff at all levels while remaining efficient with a high level of professionalism. Your written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently with little or no supervision, and attention to detail are critically important to your success in this position.
This is what a day in the life looks like:
As the primary support for all administration of provider contracts you assist with the day to day administrative and operational activities associated with physician, ancillary and hospital managed care contracts and PPO networks. This includes:
Processing all new contracts
Managi! ng and completing paperwork for submission of provider information and compensation changes to Data Management
Maintenance of all executed contract filling processes
Assist providers via phone and/or email with questions and concerns regarding claims related issues.
Interact with claim administrators and external clients to properly address provider issues.
Continually seek ways to improve and implement processes to build positive interactions between providers and our Network Contracting team.
Appropriately manage issues directly or triage as necessary.
Support provider recruitment by working with physician offices verifying receipt of documents sent and triage physicians to contract negotiators as appropriate.
Help identify and remediate operational processes and research and remediate claims.
Research provider demographic and other detailed information pertaining to physician data and communicate corrections and updates to Data Management.!
This is what you will need to be successful:
Ideal! candidate will have at least one year experience with medical billing and coding in a hospital, managed care environment or private physician office setting.
Minimum two years experience in a customer service capacity.
Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, more specifically in Word, Excel and Access required.
Stickler for details and accurate data.
Team player with ability to work with many different personalities successfully.
Self-motivated and not requiring daily supervision.
Creative problem-solver with strong analytic abilities.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
Excellent work ethic, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to represent Imagine Health with a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
