GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the dayâ€toâ€day inventory responsibilities by synchronizing the inward and outbound course of products and maintaining records of quantity and value of material stocked. Entry level position. Applies basic skills and duties and tasks are standardized. Works under direct supervision.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Enters data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into JDE. Closes shop packets received and purge in JDE. Receives and issues finished goods into JDE. Troubleshoots quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel. Records and monitors all items with shelfâ€life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired. Prepares monthly reports for cycle count and pickâ€lists count for monthly highlights. Prepares and participates in yearly physical inventory. Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) or graduation from a certified technical school. 0 - 1 years of experience; exposure to manufacturing plant environment. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: Ability to understand and follow safety policies and procedures. Ability to learn JDE as related to this job's responsibilities. Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel). Ability to gain understanding of production process, components and part numbering scheme. Ability to gain Understanding of IntelliServ work order process. Basic mathematical, statistical and analytical abilities. Ability to learn processes involving inventory control, warehousing, material coordination, and/or shipping and receiving.
