This position is located in Anadarko’s Greater Natural Buttes Midstream Organization and is based out of our Vernal, Utah office operations.
Qualifications:
- This position requires a minimum of 1 or more Years experience on oil and gas production facilities.
- Effective communication skills, a basic understanding of oil and gas operations, and working knowledge of natural gas process equipment are required.
- Additional requirements of the position include limited computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Operation of PSM gas processing facilities including refrigeration and cryogenics gas processing, and liquid recovery
- Execution of startup, shut down and operating procedures for compressors, furnaces, distillation towers, expanders, electric motors, fans, pumps, instrumentation, valves and alarms
- Analyze flowstreams using a gas chromatograph and make necessary process adjustments to maintain product specifications
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance of compressors, engines, pumps, controls, piping and valves
- Generate daily production reports including liquid production, downtime and gas volumes
- Maintain good communication with supervision, field -- plant -- and maintenance employees, and contractors
- Ability to work rotating 12 hour shifts
- Work irregular hours, outside, and around heavy equipment, and in variable environmental conditions
- Monitor, maintain, and operate safety and fire protection systems
- Maintain good housekeeping practices
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.
Certifications/Licenses:
Valid US drivers license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.
Relocation:
This position is eligible for domestic relocation for current APC employees
Travel Requirements:
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%
Work Schedule:
This position is on a shift schedule and may be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
