Overview: Lakeside Medical, a division of CR England, Inc, is looking for a Medical Assistant to work closely with our on site medical providers to assist in providing quality medical care for our s! taff and drivers.
Responsibilities: The Medical Assistant will be:
Measuring and recording vital signs Drawing blood Taking patient history Collecting and testing Urine samples Performing rapid strep screens and influenza swabs Using one touch ultra glucose meters Removing ear wax Working EKG equipment Conducting visual exams Ensuring DOT exam forms are properly filled out Setting up and assisting with PAP smears They will also be handling the weekly inventory check and ordering supplies. Greeting and logging in patients, billing, filling and management of patient records.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess:
Two or more years experience working as a Medical Assistant A high level of motivation in an effort to provide exceptional customer service The ability to multi-task and maintain a positive working relationship to support the department in achieving their objectives.
