Performs a variety of entry level certified or non-certified duties related to the security, safety, order, operation and maint! enance of county jail facilities, including incarceration and detention of prisoners.Reserve employees are strongly considered when full time openings become available.No Benefits / Trainee $10.00 Hour / Certified $15.00 Hours: Various/on-call to include holidays, nights and weekends. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Graduation from High School or GED. 2. Must be at least 21 years of age. 3. Must be able to pass an extensive background investigation. 4. Must complete and pass Physical Fitness test (Before application can be considered for Trainee only.)i 5. Must complete and pass Competency test (Before application can be considered.)i6. Must complete and have a passing score on the POST exam.
