Job Description
The successful Inventory Control Clerk will contribute to our top corporate goals to ensure that Nicholas & Company is the first choice of our customers and team members. Individual is responsible for the accurate tracking of inventory within the warehouse. These duties include cycle counting of inventory, entry of inventory data into the computer system, and support for other departments.
Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to cycle count and maintain accurate inventory levels within the freezer Must report on trends tracked through cycle counts Must keypunch paperwork generated by operations on a daily basis Must track and report on inventory levels in the holding warehouse Will be in charge of running a negative slot report to verify inventory Assisting Purchasing by validating product in specific slots Assisting all other departments with their inventory needs Must gene! rate and process various inventory tracking reports Must Assis! t in the completion of other departmental functions as required Match credits noted by Drivers to the products that are returned Research discrepancies such as returns without documentation Quality assure all product that is returned to verify it is still safe Make sure all returns are taken back to their appropriate areas Assisting Will Call with any returns that are processed there Solving and issues that arise from the credit process such as credits that have been doubled Any and all other duties as assigned by department manager
Requirements Minimum of one year experience in warehouse operations Basic computer skills including 10-key data entry Attention to detail, self-motivated, and the ability to communicate and coordinate with others employees Ability to work in a variety of temperatures (cooler, freezer, dry) Ability to operate and basic understanding of mechanical operation of pallet jack, forklift, man-lift and other such warehouse equipment Ability to lift p! roduct weighing up to 90 pounds. Must be able to perform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately and safely, with or without reasonable accommodation and without creating threat or harm Must comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as, state, federal and safety regulations
Other Shift is Tuesday-Saturday Shift is 7:00 am-3:30pm flexible as needed No part time jobs available Must be loyal to job
