This position will be responsible for implementing complex interfaces, designing new interfaces, and developing and maintaining relationships with external vendors, third parties and carrie! rs. Will provide research resolution for escalations from inte! rnal and external team members, work independently, and be responsible for the overall project management of each interface as assigned by project.Responsibilities / Duties: Ability to perform all EDI Support Specialist duties, including: Resolve data discrepancies from interfaces Interact with internal and external parties as the ongoing technical support for interface issuesMaintain internal tracking system with project informationManage interface project renewals for groups with no changes Coordinate testing with third parties for interfaces without changes during renewalConfigure complex transmission setup for PlanSource standard files (SFTP, FTP)Research escalations from internal development tracking system for ongoing issuesCommunicate/coordinate with carriers and internal parties related to interface projectsComplete special projects as assigned (system research, mass updates)Meet or exceed Data Exchange Team Service Level RequirementsAbility to perform all Sr. EDI S! upport Specialist duties, including: Manage interface project renewals for groups with minor changes Ongoing management of complex clients or high volume groupsCoordinate transfer of configuration of existing PlanSource interfaces to alternate ClearingHouse systemManage minor updates to existing interfaces (not related to layout or design) including mid-year structure updates or separation of employee populationsConfiguration of simple new projectsExisting Interface Template configurations Basic existing 834 interfacesBasic existing custom files EDI Implementation Analyst Specific duties: Act as an escalation contact for EDI Support Specialists Configure complex existing 834sImplement and Design new 834s classified as "basic" (medical/dental/vision benefit data)Implement and Design new customized proprietary interfaces classified as "basic") Implement new interfaces in alternate ClearingHouse systemResolve system utility tracking errors Test/Resolve Transport Connections (S! FTP, FTP)Communicate with carriers, internal parties, and customers as ! neededParticipate in global discussions with partners and third parties Minimum Qualifications: Experience: - Customer Service Experience- General Project Management Background - Previous Benefits Administration Experience Preferred- Data Exchange Experience PreferredSkills/ Abilities: - Strong technical aptitude- Strong ability to work independently- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Must be able to work outside of normal work hours- Ability to read 834 format preferred-Excellent organization and prioritization skills - Strong customer service orientation- Familiar with Microsoft Office- Ability to be an effective team member
