Quality Department Specialist / Administrative Assistant

Location: ! Salt Lake City Utah

Description: Edwards Lifesciences is looking of Quality Department Specialist / Administrative Assistant right now, this occupation will be placed in Utah. The Administrative Assistant for Quality Assurance role is an excellent opportunity to join a high growth, innovative and industry leading organization and advance a career in the Quality Assurance function. The successful candidate will report to the Vice President of Quality Assurance and will support the Quality Assurance department on a variety of tasks related to the Cardiac Surgery Systems business. Projects vary from project assignments to continuous maintenance responsibilities.

! Responsibilities:
General office duties (filing, ph! otocopying, faxing, mail distribution, supply maintenance, data entry)

Scheduling travel and meetings and maintaining calendars

Preparing presentations, check requests, mail/shipping materials; assisting in preparation of project documents and procedure maintenance, and process Engineering Change Requests

Communicate with Edwards global QA personnel, manage quality metrics

High school diploma required, prefer a Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university; or, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 1-2 years administrative minimum experience is preferred. Prior work in the Medical Device industry is a plus.

Requirements:
Must possess excellent organization skills and exercise strong attention to detail

Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows environment (including Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint) and have working knowledge of a document management system. Excellent i! nterpersonal, communication, grammar and letter composition skills are required

Strong follow-up skills are essential. Must be a self-starter, solve problems quickly and proactively and coordinate varied and multiple projects simultaneously
