Paws at Peace is a small but growing company providing at-home euthanasia and hospice care for pets of NYC. Our mission is to make the end of a pet's life as beautiful as the beginning. We help people at a very difficult time in their lives.
We are seeking compassionate team members for a remote care coordinator position. This entails patient and compassionate client communication, answering phones and emails, following up with clients, scheduling appointments, communicating with referring veterinarians, and helping coordinate the doctor's day as they drive between appointments. Our clients are often dealing with one of the darkest moments in their life and are often distressed. The ideal candidate will be a guiding light through this dark moment. For the right candidate, is challenging but deeply rewarding work.

Experience in the veterinary field, hospice field, and/or customer service helpful but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, emails, and text messages
- Schedule appointments, follow up with clients after appointments
- Helping the doctor on duty coordinate their day
- Provide basic quality of life discussions over the phone with clients (we will train you)
- Communication with referring veterinarians

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
