Overview
You will support the International Private Bank (IPB) Americas Structured Lending Middle Office team as a Service Officer. As part of the IPB Americas Lending Chief Operating Office organization, Service Officers act as the final gatekeeper to ensure that loan transactions adhere to credit policies and approvals, review loan documentation, and handle funding, repayments, and general servicing inquiries from Bankers, Lenders, and Clients. You will interact with Loan Officers, Bankers, Investment Advisors, Custody officers and Back-office on loan closings/fundings, loan servicing, collateral issues, loan increases, and late payments.

What You’ll Do
Review approved credit approval memos and loan documentation from Loan Officers to prepare instructions for loan system set up
Process loan funding, payments, and repricing on loan system
Support lending product servicing, including Lombard loans, Commercial Real Estate loans, Subscription Finance loans or other structured loans
Manage daily contact with bankers, clients, or agent banks on full range of servicing matters
Coordinate with back-office or business risk management as required on servicing matters
Monitor collateral assets to ensure proper collateral maintenance; Follow-up with clients and loan officers for missing documentation, interest payments, and collateral deficiencies
Skills You’ll Need
Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor as this position interacts with clients daily
Strong team player, able to work with numerous internal stakeholders including immediate team of service officers, back-office, loan officers, bankers, or risk managers
Knowledge of structured loan servicing, including syndicated and participation transactions and/or commercial real estate
Understanding of regulatory and compliance and bank policy issues
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Extremely strong organizational skills required as this position eventually will assist in the maintenance of large portfolio
Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and assess processes and create efficiency solutions
