Zions Bancorporation is now accepting resumes for a Contract Analyst position in our Contracts Department located in Salt Lake City, UT. Zions Bancorporation is the parent company of Zions First National Bank and operates affiliates with approximately 500 banking offices in ten Western and Southwestern states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Texas, and Washington.
The Contract Analyst will be responsible for screening transactions for special legal or regulatory risks, as well as drafting, reviewing, redlining and negotiating a wide range of m! oderate risk service provider contracts. This position involve! s a significant amount of multi-tasking. The individual must be able to work well under pressure and meet numerous deadlines.
The successful candidate will be able to prioritize effectively, make independent decisions with little supervision, and interact well with internal clients, staff and vendors.
J.D., paralegal and/or 3 years experience in contracts drafting and negotiations
Proven ability to negotiate complex agreements
Knowledge of legal and regulatory issues pertaining to financial institutions
Strong analytical and communication skills
Strong eye for detail
Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of an organization
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Access, Excel or similar software
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working in a law firm or with litigation matters highly desired
Prior experience in banking and finance
