LOCUMS information:
Locums Outpatient and Hospitalist Locums, OR, even a Locums who wants to do both IP and OP would work. Ideally need two different docs â€" One for a Hospitalist and One for a Outpatient clinic. The locums hospitalist (IM or FP) is 7 days on / 7 days off, would see 5-12 patients a day, standard business hours M-F, 8-5. On the week they are “on†they would just need to take phone calls but do not need to be on the hospital campus after hours. If necessary, they can drive over from their housing and come in to see a patient. Procedurally would be vents, standard ICU patient management, intubations, pulmonary, cardio, etc. Normal demographic of patients, nothing out of the ordinary. No head trauma or other complex trauma. B/C, B/E, MD, DO, or FMG. MUST have EXCELLENT communication skills. Facility provides travel and housing.
