We are looking for a motivated marketing practitioner who is open to an innovative and non-traditional view of software marketing and is ready to push the boundaries of growth. Ideal candidates ar! e passionate about maximizing near-term opportunities, such as product launches, while also building strategic, long-term programs to increase demand and preference for SolarWinds products in Latin America (LATAM). Applicants for this position should have some level of experience in planning and coordinating broad-based marketing programs, including web and email-based campaigns, regional events, tradeshows, and online ad campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Acts as the Marketing Director for SolarWinds in LATAM to fulfill near term lead generation and contact acquisition goals balanced with longer term plans for overall growth
Drives to a weekly, monthly and quarterly lead generation target
Drives to a quarterly contact acquisition target
Knows Brazilian and Spanish-speaking markets, maintaining insight into trends, news and needs that define local market opportunities for SolarWinds Network and Systems Management product lines
Defines quarterly! marketing plan including all channels such as: content calend! aring for inbound link and lead generation, web merchandising on SolarWinds' local properties, online advertising and content placement on industry relevant sites, email marketing, social media and more
Collaborates with channel expert leads for email, social, PR, web, SEO/PPC, syndication and more to agree on plans and resourcing for execution
Collaborates with Product Marketing Managers (PMM) to define and create content, including some content creation, editing and copywriting for a variety of channels
Leverages robust analytics to manage to the pulse of the business with a focus on weekly and even daily lead generation goals, adjusting go to market activities based on results & the needs of the sales organization
Qualifications:
2-5 years marketing experience â" Technology / Software marketing preferred
Strong language skills â" Fluent Portuguese and Spanish is required for this position
Strong analytical acumen â" pivot tables! are your friend â" prior experience with Omniture SiteCatalyst or similar desired
Strong communication skills â" including light copywriting â" inbound/content marketing experience preferred
Effective presenter, negotiator, collaborator - regardless of org structure or hierarchy
Ability to switch easily between different marketing campaigns and flexibility to handle a rapidly changing environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities in an efficient and timely manner
Ability to participate in cross functional team meetings, projects and interactions across time zones using various technologies to bridge the physical divide
Professional, team player with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
BS/BA degree required
