Location: Clearfield Utah

Description: ATK is currently seeking to employ Production Technician 06 Job right now, this position will be placed in Utah. The group also has extensive experience supporting human and space payload missions.

ATK is currently recruiting for several composite technicians who will work in our Clearfield, UT location.

Job Description

:

As a Production Technician you work on the next generation composite structures.

This job involves the fabrication of composite hardware using hand layup method. It will also require development of skills to follow that hardware through sanding and drilling operations and up to final finishing and sell to customer.

Basic

Requirements

:

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED (education will be verified)
• 0-2 years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing environme! nt and/or hand tools
• Must be able to work 12-hour shi! fts for 4 consecutive days (4 days on, 4 days off)
• Must be able to work day shift (6am â€" 6:30pm) or night shift (6pm â€" 6:30am)
• Must be able to work flexible and changing shift schedules
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work in a diverse work environment
• Must be able to use standard measuring equipment
• Must be able to use power hand tools
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures

Preferred skills / education:

• Composite experience and/or certification

Competencies for Success:

• Positive individual who is willing to expand current skill set, thought schooling and training.
• Ability to work with others at all levels of the organization.
• Strong communication skills.
