ATK is currently recruiting for a Production Technician who will work in our Clearfield, UT location.
Job Description
:
As a Production Technician you work on the next generation composite structures.
This job involves the fabrication of Rocket Motor hardware. It will also require development of skills to follow that hardware through the Machining process, up to finishing and sell to customer.
Basic
Requirements
:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED (education will be verified)
- 2-3 years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing environment and/or hand tools
- Must be able to work flexible a! nd changing shift schedules
- Must be able to work week! ends if necessary
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to work in a diverse work environment
- Must be able to use standard measuring equipment
- Must be able to use power hand tools
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures
- Mechanical aptitude
- Composite / Fabrication experience, Machining experience, or related training
- Positive individual who is willing to expand current skill set, through schooling and training.
- Ability to work with others at all levels of the organization.
- Strong communication skills.
