Provide direct field support to the sites running the ACPS, Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation, or other future contracting information systems.
Act as the Computer Systems Administrator (CSA), and Functional Systems Administrator (FSA)
Provide technical advice to the Government in support of strategic planning to determine future hardware and software needs and to assist project managers on software development and problem resolution
Update and maintain the ACPS databases, and other databases! as required, including migration and administration
Respo! nsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of key software packages. (IBM MQ, IIS)
Responsible for system security updates, system security checks and the reporting of security incidents in accordance with Air Force regulations.
Required Skills/Education:
Successful Candidates will possess at least 3 years experience in the field, hold at a minimum a certification in Security + and have profeiciency in the following areas:
Windows Server 2003/2008 R2 (Terminal Services for Applications) Functional System Administrator (FSA)
Personal Computers running Windows 7 Computer System Administrator (CSA)
IBM Websphere (MQ/Transformation Extender)
Servers running IIS (Microsoft Internet Information Services) & anonymous FTP.
Hardening Servers to reside in public facing DMZ.
Group Policies Objects
Must have experience in Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNO) for servers, workstations and have e! xperience in the reporting process at Hill.
Must have experience with setting up, configuring and maintaining VMWare and Hyper V.
Must have experience using ARCServe for the daily backup/restoration of system data.
Must have experience with MS Office Suite. (Word – Access – Excel – Outlook)
Must have experience troubleshooting network problems.
Candidates must be US Citizens and possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance at a minimum.
