2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor

Detailed specification about this occupation opportunity kindly see the descriptions. The Maintenance Supervisor will supervise and schedule the maintenance of all plant systems. The
Supervisor will supervise the preventative maintenance program and coordinate work ! that is contracted
to outside companies.
Responsibilities
Communicate and work with Production and other departments to address issues/problems with operating systems.
Cross train maintenance employees on equipment.
Coordinate and schedule work orders and necessary maintenance personnel.
Identify reoccurring equipment breakdowns and develop methods and modifications to prevent downtime.
Troubleshoot plant systems as necessary.
Monitor the preventative maintenance program to ensure equipment is serviced with its recommended time frame.
Contact contractors to schedule repairs and installations.
Research price and availability of new and replacement parts.
Confirm upgrades are performed on existing equipment.
Install new software and/or machine codes.
Schedule down time to repair machinery.
Facilitate emergency repairs during production.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Associateâs degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and/or commensurate experience.
3 years of maintenance and management experience or more.
Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes.
Broad depth of experience and knowledge of production machinery and equipment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve beyond routine issues.
Read/understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
Preferred Education, Experience,! and Skills
Bachelorâs degree in Engineering.
3 years of food manufacturing experience or more.
Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems / PSM.
Working Conditions
Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 65-100 degrees F.
Hair nets, ear plugs/muffs, hardhats, and/or safety glasses may be required.
Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder, shoulder-to-overhead and pushing/pulling/carrying.
Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands.
Product weight: up to 100 lbs.
Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors or other motorized vehicles in tight quarters.
